Course Overview

Deep Roots is an essential Islamic literacy programme designed to cater specifically for the educational and spiritual needs of Muslim teenagers.

The onset of puberty and the ‘teenage’ years are possibly the most challenging and critical period in one’s life. Hormonal changes, new ideas, big questions, peer pressure, emotional issues, relationships; these are but a few of the challenges that our young face every day.
Deep Roots is not just an Islamic Studies course; it is a programme of initiation into the Way of Prophecy through providing essential knowledge, key skills, and focused mentoring to young people. Students will be given self-development plans and bespoke pastoral care, woven into the core content of the program.

Formal sessions will transmit the core teachings of Islamic beliefs, practice and spirituality in a reliable and relevant manner, seeking to nurture rooted young believers who become forces of prophetic change in the community.
