The Gateway to Sacred Knowledge (GTSK) Foundation Course is a unique and much-needed educational programme designed to serve the growing intellectual and spiritual needs of the British Muslim community in general, with specific emphasis on the oft-neglected academic challenges faced by young Muslims.

Anchored in a deeply nuanced and native understanding of both the external and internal challenges afflicting the Muslim populous, the GTSK course is in a prime position to methodically and effectively address questions, correct misconceptions and provide guidance.

  • Understanding Islam as outlined by the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and as lived and passed down by 1,400 years of saints and scholars
  • Differentiating between correct and incorrect presentations of Islamic teachings.
  • Learning Islam in a way that allows us to fulfil our God-given purpose in life.

  • Study the core beliefs that every Muslim must affirm and uphold.
  • Understand how Islamic beliefs shape our choices and views in life.
  • Develop certainty and confidence in upholding Islamic beliefs.

  • Study the transformative and life-changing lessons in just five holy statements of the Prophet ﷺ.
  • Discover the timeless relevance and endless depth of the Prophet’s ﷺ speech.
  • Align yourself with the Prophetic way of seeing the world, living in it and interacting with it.       

  • Understand the fundamentals of Wudu, Ghusl and other forms of ritual purification  
  • Understand the requirements and etiquettes of Prayer
  • Learn how to correct mistakes in prayer and make up missed prayers.

  • Study a detailed description of the Prophet’s ﷺ unmatchable physical beauty and features.
  • Uncover aspects of the Prophet’s ﷺ majestic character traits, including his mercy, gentleness, courage and generosity.
  • Discover the Prophet’s ﷺ noble manner in both public and private life.
