What you truly believe is the foundation of your mindset, outlook and, by extension, the life you choose to lead.
As Muslims, what exactly do we believe? Why do we hold these beliefs? How do these beliefs shape how we live?
This short course explores the foundations of Islamic belief (ʿAqīda) in a way that is rooted and real. Together, we’ll revisit the fundamentals of faith—belief in Allah, His Angels, His Books, His Messengers, the Last Day, and the Divine Decree—not just as a formula to memorise, but as a framework for understanding and interfacing with existence.
The course has been developed and refined over several years, drawing on several classical texts of Islamic beliefs, metaphysics & spirituality, while speaking to the realities of modern life.
Using reason-based arguments proving core beliefs, spiritual insights into the Divine Names and openly engaging the ideas and ideologies of modernity, the course is designed to anchor your identity, inform your choices and bring meaning to everyday life.
